Since 1884 John Mason International has played a pivotal role in moving more than 100,000+ people. The majority of these are families migrating overseas to start a new life in locations such as Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Canada.
Each year we also help move a number of famous faces to and from the UK. From megastar footballers and managers to chart topping musicians – we’ve encountered them all. We’ve even helped move one of the Royal Family’s carriages!
However when we had a request to help move a Wombat we were left us scratching our heads. That was until it was revealed to be Matthew Murphy, lead singer from indie rock band ‘The Wombats’.
The band who were formed just down the road from John Mason International’s Liverpool office, have gone on to sell over a million albums worldwide. John Mason International are moving Matthew and his K9 friend Daisy to Los Angeles where he is moving to continue to focus on his music career
