Storage Insurance: If you choose to store your items with us, our storage insurance ensures they’re protected against risks such as fire, flood, or theft while in our secure storage facilities.

High-Value Item Insurance: For items of significant value, we offer additional coverage. This ensures that your precious belongings like antiques, artwork, or heirloom furniture are adequately protected.

Packing and Unpacking Insurance: Our insurance also covers any damage that might occur during the packing and unpacking process. Our professional team takes utmost care, but we offer this for added security.

2. Providing Detailed Information: We will provide you with our Insurance Booklet that contains comprehensive information about our insurance policies. This will help you make an informed decision.
3. Filling Out the Insurance Form: You will be required to fill out an insurance form, listing all the items you wish to insure and their respective values. Our team is available to assist you with this process.
4. Review and Confirmation: Once the form is submitted, our team will review it and confirm the details with you. This ensures that all your valuable items are covered.
5. Issuing the Insurance Certificate: After the review, we will issue an insurance certificate that confirms your coverage. This document is important and should be kept safely.
6. Support Throughout the Move: If any issues arise during the move, our team is on hand to support you and guide you through the claims process, if necessary.

Advice On Insuring Your Overseas Removals

If you are moving with your employer or new employer, the company may already self-insure. If not, make sure that you have adequate international removals Insurance cover in place prior to shipping.

    Please be advised of the following when insuring your household effects for International removals:

  • Always insure your items for full replacement value at destination, it is not advisable to underinsure your items.
  • The Insurance Proposal Form must be completed and returned to your Move Manager prior to the packing and collection date.
  • If you need any assistance with regard to completing the form, your Move Manager will be able to talk you through it.
  • Remember to extend your Insurance if you are planning on putting your items into store prior to shipping or at destination. Your Move Manager will also remind you.
  • When grouping items together e.g. 5 x pictures at £500, make sure to list any item which is more valuable than the others e.g. if the carton of pictures is made up of one worth £300 and four worth £50 each, list the more expensive picture separately.
