Follow Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement that England will be going back into lockdown, Housing Minister Robert Jenrick confirmed that removals can still take place.
As a result John Mason International will continue to operate as normal. The British Association of Removals (BAR) are in direct contact with MHCLG and have a meeting with the Home Moving and Buying Group (including representation from MHCLG) planned for Wednesday of this week and we will update again if there is any suggestion of a change to that position.
The safety of our customers and employees remains our number one priority, and we continue to work with extra safety measures to ensure we remain ‘Covid Secure’. These include new working practices, additional risk assessments, introducing additional hygiene procedures, enforcing social distancing where possible and personal protection equipment for crews. For those within the UK looking to import business related goods or personal possessions, our Import from UK services are in place.
