Where can I live in Kalba?
Villas dominate the city, with only a few apartment buildings. It is near the Gulf of Oman due to its eastern coast location. The city is divided into several distinct neighbourhoods and sub-neighbourhoods, each with its own amenities.
In the city are many parks, schools, and recreational spaces, especially for ecotourism.
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is attempting to boost tourism by developing the city as fast as possible.
The western end of Kalba is known for its mangrove reserves and heritage sites.
Transport in Kalba:
Getting to the city from Sharjah takes around one hour and fifteen minutes via Sharjah – Kalba Road (E102). Fujairah is connected to the city via Rugaylat Road (E99) and shares a beach strip with it.
Public transportation options in and around Kalba include taxis and buses. Everyday commutes are largely undertaken in private vehicles by residents.
