If you are importing your pet into the UK, it will not be required to be in quarantine in the UK as long as full compliance with UK entry regulations has been achieved. The regulations are as follows:
- The pet must have an international microchip
- The pet must be vaccinated against Rabies (after the microchip has been inserted and at least 21 days prior to travel).
- A vet examination must be completed including worming prior to travel
- An EU Health Certificate will need to be completed
Additional info: The UK accepts both 1 and 3 year vaccinations.
Please bear in mind that your exporting country may also have exporting requirements for example a completion of a health certificate. Please get in touch for information relevant to your specific country.
Please note that regulations can change on a regular basis so please contact us for further information.
