A team from John Mason International’s Head Office in Liverpool have raised £1000 for Movember. The ‘John Mason Mojos’, a group of seven men in the office, joined forces and encouraged each other to take on the challenge.
This is the first year that the company has partipated in Movember but it looks like it will now become an annual event as the ‘Mo Bros’ are up for partipating next year also.
Movember originally began in 2003, challenging men to grow a moustache for 30 days to raise money for men’s health charities. It is now a very well known and popular fundraising activity throughout November, responsible for millions of people growing moustaches throughout the world every year! It is truly a global movement, originally beginning in Melbourne, Australia but now taken up by men all around the world. The main charities supported include world class prostate cancer charities, testicular cancer and mental health charities among others via the Movember Foundation, with the aim of changing the face of men’s health.
The John Mason fundraising team also joined in along with the rest of the office, with a lot of the women acting as ‘Mo Sistas’ and supporting the team throughout their efforts.

Congratulations also to Transport Manager Danny, the winner of the ‘Best Mo’ competition, as voted for by John Mason staff! Danny was also the winner of the most amount raised so thanks to him and the rest of the John Mason Mojos team for raising money and awareness for a great cause. Well done guys!
