According to a new survey, Brits living abroad miss their local pub more than the NHS.
British expats living around the world were asked what they miss most about life in the UK. Almost one in three (30%) said they really missed traditional British Pubs, compared to only 25% who said they missed the NHS.
British humor and roast dinners also listed high in the list, whilst only 2% of those surveyed were disappointed to turn their back on typical British weather, preferring generally warmer, drier and more predictable climates overseas.
Over 50% said they missed their British friends, yet only 42% of those questioned said they missed their family in the UK.
