A delegation from Western Australia is expected to visit the UK imminently, in a bid to tempt more ‘Poms’ to migrate Down Under.
The move comes after the Australian government identified more than 30,000 vacancies in a number of industries – including medicine, education and law.
There are also roles available for British miners and mechanics – as well as plumbers and builders.
