Visa application fees for Australia will be increased on an annual basis in line with inflation.
All visas fees increase with each budget, usually in line with the Consumer Price Index inflation, which is about 3 per cent per year. As an example, the independent skilled permanent visa fee will rise this year from $3,600 AUD to $3,670 AUD. This restores the previous practice which applied prior to 2007. The new fees will apply from 1st July 2017.
