International Shipping Services to China
John Mason provide complete International Moving and Shipping Services to China. If you are shipping to China, contact us for a free, no obligation pre-move survey where an International Consultant will explain shipping options, transit times and other details to you as well as assessing the volume of your shipment. Both sea and air freight options are available. In addition, please be advised of the following customs information.
In most cases, you will need an Import Permit to import your household goods shipment into China. To apply for this, you will need to provide documentation and other paperwork requested by the Customs Authorities in China (such as residence permit, passport among other documents). A full list of the required documentation will be provided with your quotation and by your Move Manager.
Different regulations apply for other types of shipment such as diplomatic removals, returning Chinese citizens and other categories of personnel. Your Move Manager will be able to provide specific advice where required.
For air freight shipments to China (applicable for airports of entry Shanghai, Beijing and Nanjing) we strongly advise not to include the following items: food, alcohol, cosmetics, toiletries and health items / products.
Please note that regulations can change on a regular basis so please contact us if you require further information regarding your move to China. A full Customs Guide to China is available upon request.
