Relocation
International Relocation ServicesRelocating overseas is more than just moving house: it's a total change of life. For the International Assignee there are so many things to consider, so many obstacles to overcome. For the company, it's a time when complete confidence in its partners is essential. That's where we can help. As a member of a relocation partnership with offices throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australasia, China, Africa and the Middle East, we are a global company. Through our international network, we are able to co-ordinate the smooth transition of International Assignees from and to any country in the world. What's more, we can do it on budget and in accordance with our clients' relocation policies. The cost of relocating key staff overseas is high and it can be higher still if things go wrong. We ensure that transferred staff and their families enjoy the experience and settle quickly into a new location and a new culture. This way they remain effective employees during the transfer, soon regain their full productivity, and complete the assignment. Relocating overseas is an exciting and wonderful adventure for all the family. It's our job to make sure it stays that way. |

Orientation Tours
We operate orientation tours to help International Assignees choose the area in which they wish to live and check out the local neighbourhood. A one day look see visit provides an opportunity to view sample properties, visit local schools, and compare amenities.
Home and School Search
A Home Search visit allows time to select schools, choose accommodation, negotiate leases or purchase contracts and organise pre-move preparation or refurbishment to property if necessary. Whether renting or buying our Home Search service includes the selection of suitable properties; accompanied viewing; information and advice on price negotiatio.n; and a full management service to progress the contract through to completion. School Search also includes accompanied visits and advice on school suitability; access to published performance standards; and assistance with school registration.
Cultural and Language Training
It's important for Assignees to understand something of the culture and language of their new country if they are to be successful in business and in integrating with local people. Cultural training may even be necessary where there is no language difference. To achieve this we provide comprehensive cultural training in to help the family settle in quickly. Lessons in conversational or business language can also be arranged.
Home Sale
We will manage the sale of Assignees' homes saving them time and allowing them to concentrate fully on their relocation.
Departure Service
When Assignees leave a country we will clear all the loose ends that are left behind. These may include cancelling the property lease; minor repairs and cleaning; co-ordination with the removal company; inventory checking; and negotiating the return of the deposit. We will also arrange the disconnection of utilities, forward final accounts and redirect mail.
Move Management
We will manage the entire household moving process and provide up-to-date information every step of the way. Working with a dedicated Traffic Co-ordinator we will perform site visits, and specify appropriate packing materials and methods. We will communicate with the Assignee and the moving company, particularly at key stages, to ensure that nothing is forgotten. At destination we will provide supervision on delivery, help with insurance claims, evaluate the total service received and provide an opportunity for client feedback.
Settling In
It's important for Assignees and their families to settle in quickly so we will provide them with assistance to help them do so. This might include introductions to other expatriates; joining local sports clubs; or, for single people in particular, providing someone to take in deliveries. Simple things like running errands, looking after children or helping around the home can make a huge difference to those first few days in a new country. A second orientation day can include setting up bank accounts, registering with doctors and dentists and much more.
Special Services
Things that are easy at home can prove very difficult in unfamiliar surroundings. Just booking a driving lesson or calling a plumber can be a major problem. We will provide Assignees with help to employ domestic services, organise decorating, buy a car, move pets, in fact anything that will help them settle easily into their new role.
